About Me
Based in beautiful rural Tomarata (between Mangawhai and Wellsford), this season (2024/25) will be my seventh working as a celebrant, and along with experience, I draw on a passion for writing and a background in communication, marketing and events to create ceremonies that all your family will love, combining “all the feels”.
Each ceremony is crafted with care to reflect the personalities of the couples I work with and to incorporate those special elements of the big day that are important to you. I’m a mum of three grown kids and a natural carer, so there to bring a bit of calmness and reassurance if the unexpected happens! I'm also proud graduate of the Celebrant School of New Zealand who provide a wonderful grounding across a range of ceremonies and cultural settings.
I love working with (but not limited to) ALL people blissfully in love, small people, Nans, beloved pets and other awesome wedding vendors; and overcoming challenges like getting married during summer storms in the subtropics of Auckland and Northland (yes, I've experienced a number of these so far). Your part is simply to relax and enjoy – and make the most of your special day.
My celebrant goal is to hike into a stunning remote location to deliver a wedding ceremony - anywhere in New Zealand as long as I've got plenty of notice to prepare!
I feel so privileged to be able to do something I really love - creating bespoke ceremonies and marrying wonderful people; how good is that...?
